Stewardship: Acts

On the subject of Stewardship in the book of Acts

Read Acts 4:32 - 5:11 Believers Sharing Possessions & Ananias and Sapphira

The idea of sharing your possessions of such vital importance that two people we put to death by their lying in the amount of money that they gave to the lord when they sold their land, thus defining a lack of their true beliefs.

This is even valid with the fact that often a church's money flow is not only to the financially needy, but to uses within the church which is itself needy.

What about the other people in the church or the others who give to this cause, won't they take care of all that is needed?

For an answer to this question, we look specifically at verse 32. Which says:

Acts 4:32b: No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.

Here it states that everyone shared his possessions among all the other believers to further the cause of spreading the good news of Christianity to all nations on earth.
