Oneness of God

Isaiah 44:6

Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: "I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.

Isaiah 44:8

8Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any."

Isaiah 43:10

10"You are my witnesses," says the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me.

Not only does scripture state that there is only one god and can be only one Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.

John 15:5

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

The book of Mormon supposedly is from a time when Jesus Christ came to America within a hundred years or so after his crucifixion.

“Jesus Christ, after His resurrection, supposedly visited and taught these people (referring to the Lamanites, sons of Mormon upon which the book of Mormon is based), resulting in a 200-year reign of unity and peace.”[i]

The first instance in the Bible (The holy word of god) relating to Jesus being seen anywhere post-resurrection (post-acts) is during the book of the revelation in which he is revealing what will happen in the distant future as the time of the world comes to a close.

This next instance of the Lord’s occurrence being the events of the book of revelation, this will become Christ’s second coming would mean that if he had come to the people of America (The Lamanites) the rapture would have already happened and since then we would have been living in peace with Jesus Christ here on earth for the past 1000 years. Thus there would have not been a WWI or WWII.
